London 100 is almost upon us. We have a large turn out this year with places as individuals, and those in the Team Challenge. The following has been suggested over on the FBG –
“In a couple of weeks team VCM will have a strong showing in the smoke when we take part in the London 100 challenge. Some people are riding individually, some together as a fun day out on closed roads and some are competing in the Team Club Challenge. All of us will be holding arms aloft after our sprint finish down The Mall!
For those “competing” there are a few of us who’d like to do an undulating 80 miles at pace the week before. Ideally, a similar sort of profile to London will be planned. It will bring together our training, both fitness and team work as we’ve been doing on a Saturday morning.
Simon Parkinson has kindly offered to pull a route together. We will aim for Sat 25th July – an early start. There will be a stop planned for water/food pick up. (a volunteer may be needed please – route dependant)” — Darren Wareing.
Please head over to the FBG to confirm interest with Darren and his post.
