We are now one race into the three that form the North Wales Road Race Series with National Hill Climb Champion Dan Evans of VC Melyd/Elite riding for Cannondale UK.
The third in the series is backed by our club – so we are looking to you for support. The ride rota for the day has been suspended, so if you are available – let us know – if not come along to watch.
“Our race is on the 7th June – I’ll be expecting lots of help from the club on this one please – mark your diaries now with the date and if you’re not racing, then I’ll have plenty of yellow jackets so you can help with the event – lets make this a success for VC Melyd!”
“Details for the 7th June race below – this will be the final event in the series of three and I’m confident it will be a great event – any questions, please drop me a note“

The first of the series occurred on a particularly windy day – with a great report on the first event by Team Chronomaster. The next event is to be Sunday 10th May (same day as the FWC) – this is to also involve a Women’s 234 race.
“After months of preparation behind the scenes, the first race of North Wales’ Road Race League took place today at Denbigh courtesy of Jason Breakey of Rhos on Sea and his army of volunteers.
With terrible weather conditions, the field split in the first lap with a group of 6 working together including eventual winner, Dan Evans (Cannondale UK). Race 2 will take place on the same circuit on May 10th with a Women’s 234 race also taking place https://www.britishcycling.org.uk/events/details/124734/North-Wales-Road-Race-Series:-Race-2“
