109km and 1515m of climbing. A route posted by Rob T. and attended by riders from VCM, CBM, and Team Elite. The maximum elevation is 376m.
Starting in the square alongside Caernarfon Castle with parking not too far away at Victoria Dock. Heading out into the Llyn Peninsular, heading back into the national park at Porthmadog, before taking the ‘Beddgelert Bypass’ and heading back up front Nant Gwynant with fantastic views of Snowdon, Pen Y Pass climb, then the rapid descent along the Llanberis Pass before the sting in the tail climbing above Llanberis for fantastic views back down the valley and a direct route back to Caernarfon.
Cafe stop at a converted Church with great food – Cafe Gwynant. Enough space for us all – and nice Carrot Cake.
